Private House, Easthaven

The House lies within the defined settlement boundary of Easthaven and forms part of a former larger subdivided garden.

The Design of the House is contemporary, of simple modular shapes and construction with shallow mono pitch roof planes keeping the profile of the house low behind the stone wall and existing boundaries. The lean-to front roof brings the building down to a human scale at the entrance which is also emphasised by the use of natural stone as a finish. The position and design of the house has been orientated and arranged to take account of all the neighbours’ private spaces and views as well as providing the Client with the same qualities.
